School news • New trustees at the private, liberal arts Hiram College are Thomas Harvie, a retired senior vice president at Goodyear; Olivia Garfield, a former music teacher and community volunteer in Pasadena, Calif., who is a direct descendant of former Hiram President and U.S. President James A. Garfield; and Douglas Hardman, a 1980 graduate of Hiram who leads global operations for Booz Allen Hamilton, an international technology and management consulting firm.
